Hosting the mayor of Jiangyin with Chinese delegation

It was a pleasure welcoming the mayor of Jiangyin (Jiangsu Province), Mr. BAO Ming, with a delegation of high-level political and economical representatives last week in Vienna! Especially considering that transport logistics between China and Austria, using all means of transport, is one of fr-8’s main pillars of business.
We would also like to thank Prof. Dr. Georg Zanger, President of the Austrian Chinese Business Association (ACBA) for hosting us and giving insights into the work that ACBA does. ACBA has a long history of facilitating delegations between Austria and China, fostering economic ties through business visits and trade fairs. ACBA plays a crucial role in several significant bilateral economic projects and agreements and works closely with the Chinese embassy to ensure constant communication.
We are especially happy that we could also come together in our office in Vienna for tea and insightful conversations on economic partnerships as well as infrastructure projects connecting China and Austria.
Encouraging cultural, political, and economic exchange has been on both countries’ agendas for years, manifested in a strategic, bilateral partnership. We too believe it is essential for Austria’s future success to keep exploring and creating opportunities for cooperation with the world’s second largest economy. Concurrently, Austria has a lot to offer to China as well, including a unique geographic position, being the gate between Eastern and Western Europe, first-class expertise in technology and engineering, a strong industrial base, as well as cultural and natural beauty, to name but a few.
We look forward to continued cooperation and success and to help strengthen the ties between Vienna and Jiangyin and to accepting the mayor’s return invitation to Jiangyin soon!
